AmeriCorps
Deadline:
The Corporation for National & Community Service wants to increase the number of substance abuse prevention programs it supports through its AmeriCorps state and national grant programs. Grants for local organizations are decided by state commissions.

- Gifts In Kind
Gifts In Kind offers such goods as computers, software, office equipment and supplies, clothing, personal care products, recreational equipment, educational materials, arts and crafts supplies, and building materials and supplies to nonprofit agencies. Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status must register with the organization in order to receive materials.

- Hanley Family Foundation
The Hanley Family Foundation funds substance abuse prevention and treatment programs including those with connections to organizations involved with the diagnosis or treatment of alcoholism, chemical dependency, or other addictive behaviors. The foundation will support capital campaigns, matching/challenge support, program development, and seed money.

- Faith in Action Substance Abuse Grants
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is looking for proposals for faith-based health support programs that assist people with alcohol and other drug problems, among others. The Faith in Action program is geared toward funding programs that could encourage community volunteers to help supervise and care for persons with health conditions including drug addiction and tobacco related cancer. Start-up grants of up to $35,000 will be awarded. There is no dead line for this program.
