  1. Ingram-White Castle Foundation
    Deadline: First working Friday in August and January
    Primarily support projects in education, projects serving disadvantaged students that help prepare students for world of work and those that strengthen educational institutions.

  2. Arthur Vining Davis Foundations
    Deadline:
    None
    Awards: $100,000-200,000
    Under Health Care (Caring Attitudes) Program: Supports projects that encourage caring attitudes in the delivery of patient care, new ideas that facilitate communication between patients, families and doctors, nurses and caregivers, ameliorate patient anxieties, strengthen trust and cooperation, and foster caring attitudes.

  3. M·A·C AIDS Fund
    Deadline: Quarterly
    Makes grants for programs serving men, women and children affected by AIDS/HIV. Program Categories: Basic Needs Grants, Education, Prevention and Awareness Grants, Direct Service Grants, Fundraising Event Sponsorship.

  4. The Comer Foundation
    Deadline:
    March 1, July 1 and November 1
    The Comer Foundation supports organizations providing needle exchange and other direct services addressing health related to drug use; Organizations grounded in harm reduction principle and practice; Organizations actively developing community, financial and local political support.

  5. The E.F.Wildermuth Foundation
    Deadline:
    August 1
    Supports Ohio and contiguous states. A number of Columbus non-profits have received funds from this foundation.

  6. The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio
    Deadlines:
    September 14, 2005, March 1, 2006
    The Women’s Fund encourages organizations to participate in the grant process and will host two-hour workshops in August to answer questions about their grant guidelines and application.
