Access - NetCare Access (see www.netcareaccess.org)
24-hour mental health and substance abuse and crisis and comprehensive assessment services for children, adolescents, adults and older adults.
Africentric Personal Development Shop
Provides culturally specific alcohol and drug treatment and prevention programs, along with violence prevention programs, group and individual counseling, and more.
Amethyst, Inc.
Serves low-income/homeless women age 18 and older who may or may not be pregnant or have dependent children with them who need alcohol/drug treatment and housing
Buckeye Ranch, The
Provides a comprehensive continuum of mental health care for children, adolescents and families.
Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging
Matches lay persons willing to become court-appointed guardians to vulnerable people 18 years of age or older with mental disabilities.
Nationwide Children's Hospital Behavioral Health Services
Counseling for individuals and families for social, emotional and behavioral problems; psychological assessment and psychiatric consultation; treatment for victims of sexual abuse and adolescent sexual offenders. Phone: (614) 335-8080.
CHOICES, Eliminating Domestic Violence
24-hour hotline; temporary, emergency shelter and case management for domestic violence victims and any of their minor children.
Columbus Area, Inc.
The agency services a broad spectrum of community residents including adults, senior citizens, persons with severe mental illness, youth and their families.
Columbus Public Health
Prevention, intervention and outpatient treatment services. Education and assessment for persons convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Columbus Urban League
The Columbus Urban League promotes the full participation of African Americans and other disadvantaged citizens in the economic and social fabric of our society.
Community for New Direction
Community for New Direction provides preventive services for primarily African American youth ages 8-17 (special emphasis on the black male).
Community Housing Network
A non-profit housing developer, owner and manager of supportive housing providing specialized property management services and rent subsidies to people with disabilities.
Community Support Network (Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare)
Community Support Network is a community mental health agency connected to Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare. Since May of 1990, CSN has been serving SMD clients in the areas of case management, counseling, forensic, medication management and psychiatric treatment.
CompDrug
Comprehensive drug and alcohol abuse prevention services, early intervention and treatment as well as treatment in institutional and community-based correctional facilities for inmates, furloughees and parolees. (Also offers Youth to Youth program.)
Concord Counseling Services
Individual, marital, family and group mental health services for all ages. Outpatient substance abuse program for adults.
COVA
Provides support to people facing employment barriers, especially those with serious mental illness, to choose, get, and keep meaningful work within the community.
Directions for Youth & Families
Provide outreach counseling to youth ages 7-18 and their families in the areas of substance abuse, mental health, delinquency, anger management and teen parenting.
Dublin Counseling Center
Individual, family, couple and group counseling for all ages. Prevention and counseling services for children and adolescents.
Educational Council
Provides services to staff, students, and families of Franklin County public schools. Some services available to private schools and the general public.
FIRSTLINK
Twenty-four hour, community-wide information/referral service; comprehensive database containing services throughout Franklin County.
House of Hope for Alcoholics
The Adult Residential Program provides long term residential treatment for adult male alcoholics, including individual, group and family counseling, educational information, work therapy, referral services and aftercare.
Huckleberry House
Twenty-four hour crisis center, engages runaway and homeless youth, provides outreach, emergency shelter, aftercare services, crisis family reconciliation, independent living programs and a volunteer program.
Maryhaven
Health care facility serving people with alcohol and other drug dependencies or patterns of abuse. Sub-acute care medical detoxification (3 to 5 day inpatient), including detoxification for pregnant women.
Mental Health America of Franklin County, Inc.
Mental health information and referral, community education and advocacy services.
NAMI Franklin County
Formerly the Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Franklin County, NAMI provides mental health education programs including a 12-week Family-to-Family Education Program, an 8-week Hand-to-Hand Family Education Program (for families of young children and adolescents), and a one-hour Teacher-to-Teacher program for teachers and school personnel.
  Native American Indian Center of Central Ohio
Provides culturally sensitive programs and alcohol and drug prevention programs for Native Americans.
Neighborhood House
Outpatient Counseling Program for Chemical Use/Abuse provides counseling for individuals, groups and families who are using, abusing or addicted to alcohol or other drugs.
NetCare Access
24-hour mental health and substance abuse crisis and comprehensive assessment services for children, adolescents, adults and older adults. Emergency response by phone, on-site or through mobile services. Alcohol and other drug assessments for all ages.
North Central Mental Health Services
Comprehensive mental health and recovery center serving children, teens, adults and older adults.
North Community Counseling Centers
Outpatient counseling services, including specialized programs for older adults, teens and persons with drug/alcohol-related problems.
Northwest Counseling Services
Counseling services for children, teens, families, adults and older adults. Alcohol and drug prevention, assessment and treatment services.
Partners in Active Living
Mental health consumer-operated non-profit corporation that employs adult mental health consumers to provide one-on-one peer support services to other adult mental health consumers.
Prevention Council of Central Ohio Promotes wellness and health in the community through the reduction of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use (ATOD) by providing research based prevention programs, services and resources.
Project Linden
Services include adult intensive outpatient and outpatient treatment, referrals to other treatment centers; prevention services targeting preschool children to older adults.
Rosemont Center
Rosemont Center is a treatment facility for young persons and their families experiencing difficulty.
Salesian Boys and Girls Club of Columbus
Serves youth ages 6-18 by helping them to realize their potential for growth and development.
Schottenstein Chabad House - Friendship Circle Program
The Schottenstein Chabad House is a private non-profit entity which serves youth, families and college students. The Schottenstein Chabad House provides educational and social programming to promote healthy choices, cohesive families and community service. The Friendship Circle serves as a drug and alcohol prevention program for teens as well as a respite service to families who have children with special needs.
Southeast, Inc., Recovery and Mental Health Care Services
Employee assistance programs. Corporate training programs. Community education. Specialized mental health and recovery services for adults with mental, emotional and addiction problems. Individual, couples and family counseling.
St. Vincent Family Centers
Child and adolescent outpatient services; group and family psychotherapy; outreach therapy; in-home services for families of infants and toddlers to prevent child abuse; preschool day treatment program for young children with serious emotional/ behavioral problems; more.
Syntaxis Youth Homes
A community-based residential treatment program in six separate locations for adolescent boys and girls ages 15 to 18.
TBI Network
The TBI Network at Ohio State University provides specialized outpatient substance abuse treatment for adults who have sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare
Formerly Central Ohio Psychiatric Hospital, Twin Valley Psychiatric System provides inpatient hospitalization at facilities in Dayton and Columbus.
Urban Minority Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Outreach Program
UMADAOPFC provides prevention training for social service agencies, schools, and community based organizations, and others as requested. education, prevention and outreach services for African Americans.
Youth to Youth
Youth to Youth, a CompDrug program, focuses on peer involvement, leadership, alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention, as well as violence prevention.
