Formerly the Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Franklin County, NAMI provides mental health education programs including a 12-week Family-to-Family Education Program, an 8-week Hand-to-Hand Family Education Program (for families of young children and adolescents), and a one-hour Teacher-to-Teacher program for teachers and school personnel. NAMI also provides support to consumers and family members; advocacy for insurance reform and appropriate and accessible services for people with mental illness. Speakers available.
