ADAMH, the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Board of Franklin County, recently named Matilda Woods as the Director of Human Resources.
Woods’ primary responsibility will be to function as head of personnel and manage the employee administration plan that includes employee evaluation, compensation, benefits administration, and job evaluation. Woods will also provide leadership on the review of existing policies and the development of new ADAMH policies and procedures and also provide staff with information to enhance their knowledge of the fair and consistent application of these policies and procedures.
Prior to joining ADAMH, Woods worked with many different organizations in her 25 years experience as a human resources professional including: the State Teachers Retirement System, United Way of Central Ohio, and Ohio Health. Woods graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in Labor & Human Resources from the Ohio State University. Woods is also a Certified Business Coach and volunteers in her community.
ADAMH is Franklin County’s authority for planning, funding and evaluating mental health, alcohol and drug abuse prevention and treatment services. ADAMH-funded services are provided by a local network of more than 40 not-for-profit providers and offered on a sliding-fee scale, making them affordable for any county resident, regardless of income.
