Kim Kehl Appointed to ADAMH Board of Trustees

ADAMH, the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Board of Franklin County, recently welcomed Kim Kehl to its volunteer Board of Trustees. Kehl was appointed by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services to a term ending June 30, 2012.

Kehl currently works as an Executive Assistant, Deputy Director at the Ohio Department of Youth Services, Bureau of Parole and Community Services. Kehl formally worked with the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities as the Administrator of Grants and Prevention Programs. Kehl, graduated with an undergraduate degree from the Kent State University in 1978 and in 1990 earned his master’s degree in education from Wright State University.

“We are proud to welcome Kim Kehl to the ADAMH Board of Trustees,” ADAMH CEO David Royer said. “Kehl has a long history and commitment to community service and a diverse range of experience. He will no doubt be a valuable member and beneficial resource for ADAMH, the Board of Trustees and our system of care.”

ADAMH’s volunteer Board of Trustees is comprised of community leaders and consumers that provide leadership and direction in forming policy and allocating funds for mental health and alcohol and other drug services in Franklin County.

ADAMH is Franklin County’s authority for planning, funding and evaluating mental health, alcohol and drug abuse prevention and treatment services. ADAMH-funded services are provided by a local network of more than 40 not-for-profit providers and are offered on a sliding-fee scale, making them affordable for any County resident, regardless of income.
