Caring for Results: A Report to the Community

January 1, 2009 - December 31, 2009

The ADAMH system is here for our community, connecting over 43,000 residents, including more than 13,000 youth, to appropriate mental health and alcohol and drug treatment services.  We also fund prevention services for more than 51,000 adults and children each year.

We appreciate the generosity of taxpayers who understand individual and community needs and entrust ADAMH with being good stewards of monies for mental health and recovery care.

In order to best serve our consumers who need quality mental health and/or alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment services, the ADAMH Board adopted an initiative called Managing for Results (MFR) in January 2002.  ADAMH’s MFR Business Plan links strategic plans to performance measures.  ADAMH is organized around results, rather than processes to ensure that public resources are used in the most efficient and effective manner.
