Dean Kauffman

Dean Kauffman is responsible for the management and administration of the ADAMH Board's planning, evaluation and quality improvement processes including the design and implementation of client outcome assessment tools, consumer satisfaction surveys, and an annual provider satisfaction survey.  He also manages the Network Services team that oversees the system of care contracts with over 40 provider agencies.

Prior to his appointment at ADAMH, Dean managed the planning and allocations process for the Franklin County United Way.  Dean also administered and supervised management and counselor training programs for the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission, and worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with the Ohio Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation.

He received his Master's of Arts in Public Administration (1980) from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology (1973) from Baldwin-Wallace College.  He co-authored an article entitled, "Performance Measurement and Financial Incentives for Community Behavioral Health Services Provision,"  which appeared in the August/September, 1997 issue of the International Journal of Public Administration. .
